Welcome to the SCGA Cyber Security Lab:
The SCGA Cyber Security Lab adopts a service-learning model that integrates a classroom and a clinical component. As a participant, you will gain practical tools, knowledge, and hands-on experience to strengthen your skills as a future cybersecurity professional.

Classroom Component:
Students will be equipped with comprehensive knowledge in cybersecurity, including theoretical frameworks, best practices, and modern security technologies. You’ll be prepared to tackle the specific challenges presented by real-world projects.

Clinical Component:
Through partnerships with community organizations, you will have the opportunity to apply your cybersecurity knowledge by assessing existing systems, identifying security vulnerabilities, and recommending innovative solutions to address the needs of our partners.

Student Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a high school, community college, undergraduate, or graduate program within the Piedmont Triad region.
  • Must be available for at least one in-person client visits to conduct on-site assessments and collaborate with community partners.
